Breathwork

Breathwork — and specifically Elemental Rhythm Breathwork — is a practice of deep rhythmic breathing that provides the opportunity to initiate our innate healing responses. Breathwork allows you to tap into the deeper layers of the subconscious and psyche, and access an altered state of consciousness. Breathwork has been shown to improve energy, stabilize mood, ease anxiety and depression, control addiction, decrease pain, manage stress, and improve overall wellbeing. We create a safe space for you to learn how to utilize your own powerful breath for short and long-term healing. Breathwork sessions can be done one-on-one, or in small or large groups, whether it be part of a more comprehensive wellness treatment plan or it’s own healing modality.

The Journey

Approach

Elemental Rhythm breathwork uses modern, evidence-based breathing techniques to elicit a physiological response mentally, emotionally, chemically, and physically. During an Elemental Rhythm breathwork session, more carbon dioxide is expelled from our bodies than normal, allowing for a greater retention of oxygen. It is a uniquely transformative experience that is entirely triggered by altering the pace and depth of your breath, the most innate tool in the human body.

Sessions

Whether done one-on-one or in small or large groups, breathwork sessions (75-90 minutes) are deeply therapeutic and individual. Two types of sessions are facilitated: Breakthrough and Flow. The Breakthrough experience is higher energy, using more vigorous breathing techniques, whereas the Flow experience utilizes slower, longer breathing techniques. Sessions generally involve being guided through 5-6 cycles of breathing, followed by a past or future self meditation, and integration session. It’s a very comprehensive and cohesive experience, one that will shift you. The frequency of these sessions is fluid and individualized. Larger Breathwork events are also hosted by us. 

Results

Highly personal, and deeply impactful. Depending on what your unique story is, breathwork has the potential to cause emotional release, trauma processing, shifts in brain states, vagus nerve stimulation, dopamine balancing, improvements in resiliency, more presence, and clarity of mind, among many other benefits. What you put in to these experiences, your willingness to remain open, and your capacity to lean in to what comes, will reflect what you receive from them.
